My “bookworm” appellation is well earned. When I was a kid, I used to throw a blanket against the crack in my bedroom door in an effort to block the light so my parents couldn’t see how late I was staying up to read (in retrospect, I doubt I was fooling anyone). I still read quite a bit. In 2009, I kept track of my reading in a different blog from January until early August, at which point the book importer tool quit working and, my system thrown off, I stopped keeping track. By that point in the summer, I had already read forty-eight books; I wish I knew how I finished out the last third of the year.
